Trim-A-Weigh

Monday, April 12, FREE information session, 6 to 7 p.m.
Program begins Monday, April 26, 6 to 7 p.m.
Our Trim A Weigh program offers a comprehensive, personalized weight management program that combines physical activity, diet, and behavior therapy. Experience individual as well as group sessions with a dietitian, personal trainer, and behavior modification specialist for an effective way to lose weight and keep it off. Also includes a 10-week membership to the Fitness Center.
Cost: $299 per person or $449 per couple for 10 weeks.

CPR Classes

Family and Friends CPR

Monday, April 26 or May 10, 7-10 p.m.
This course is designed for parents, grandparents, and babysitters.
Cost: $40.
Registration is required.

Health Care Provider CPR

Monday, May 24, 7-11 p.m.
This course is designed for health care professionals, including nurses, physicians, EMTs, and paramedics, who require a two-year certification card and use of a pocket mask. Please bring mask or add $10 to the registration fee. Written test required.
Cost: $60.
Registration is required.

Infant Massage Class

Saturdays, January 30, February 27 & March 20, 2 to 3:30 p.m.
Holy Redeemer Hospital and Medical Center offers Infant Massage Classes after you are home and settled. Learning infant massage techniques helps parent infant bonding, eases colic, enhances sleep, stimulates brain development, and increases circulation. Mom and/or dad and baby attend the class together where infant massage techniques are taught and practiced. Classes are offered monthly.
Fee: $20/family

Oh Baby

Tuesday, April 13, 7-8 p.m.
If you’re expecting a baby then this seminar is essential in preparing your dog for the family’s new addition. Topics will include preparing your home for baby and dog, evaluating your dog’s obedience level, training techniques using positive reinforcement and recognizing and understanding the subtle signs of dog body language.
You have approximately 9 months to prepare for this event, so let’s get started now!
Fee: $15/per person/couple. Pets are not permitted to attend.

Safe Sitter Course

Boys and girls, ages 11 to 13, will learn about child development, age-appropriate activities, and lifesaving skills. To successfully complete this program, students must pass a comprehensive practical and written test.
